i wonder which game has the biggest/smallest gap in gameplay vs realism. army games would probably cake the take for most divorced from reality because you're pulling stunts like hijacking tanks and going on spec ops whereas irl you'll be waitig around for 3 hours then get blown up by artillery

No idea why I thought setting my shirt on fire while still wearing it was a good idea like what the hell

what if we don't figure out how to replace oil in the next decade and then we all just fuckibg die lol

anger

Reading the TVTropes for deconstructed anything, it seems that literally anything can be deconstructed. Really, there's this complex interplay between various factors that makes it interesting, with separate groups believing radically different things.

I got it 👍

I should really think about going to Cambodia.

In my head this was hilarious it blew the socks off my rocks

I should probably make a video going into that little system in more detail. But the basic idea is that the grenade would spawn several dozen spheres at the point where it exploded. These spheres would push eachother away and impart great force on one another. (Similar to real world explosions)

what if Counter Strike added a system where the explosive force from HE grenades also spreads out in a room like they did with the smoke grenades. I did something simular while modding GMod a few weeks back - I made a grenade launch several dozen heavy spheres (unaffected by gravity) all around(1/2)

I wonder if creating art is an inherently social act. As in: Is the process of selecting what to create and then creating it influenced (entirely?) by our preconceptions of other's opinions - or is there such a thing as creating art for one's own sake, entirely divorced from such thoughts?

"Wake up my friend! It is the dawn of a new day, and you must make memes!"

Man. I gotta stop lighting my pants on fire. (No metaphor. I'm setting them on fire on a semi-usual basis)

Viktor Gordeyev had a good idea when he thought of this: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocket_...

I wonder if self-loathing is an evolutionary trait that humanity acquired to survive better or whether it's one of those things that was just a random mutation that stuck around because it didn't particularly shake up the order of who's fittest for the environment and who isn't

I wonder how the world would change if everybody born after 1900 acquired the power to materialize a stick of dynamite out of thin air once every four hours. Not being metaphorical, I'm not trying to play wise guy, I'm genuinely curious.

Every generation so far thought the world would end, and every single one was wrong. But I think we're pretty close to finally getting it right 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Evangelion but Shinji is a victorian-era chimney-sweeper named Hiram Bennett

I had a vision where stand-up comedy was (in a couple years) replaced with events where a person would display a powerpoint presentation of the various memes they have created in an attempt to entertain the public.

I used the term "hilarious" but really it's one of those things that's so comically tragic it loops back around to being funny. Remember watching Avatar Airbender and seeing that one scene where Avatar's Love plays and everything feels alright? Yeah, fuck you, you'll never feel that way ever again.

Just like how the earth is littered with ruins of empires who thought they were immortal, niche corners of youtube when you search "[Random Series] episode 26 watch" are littered with videos that have links to other websites in the description that were once meant to direct you to a site where...

I don't like how people say the Immortal does nothing in Invincible. Come on! You're selling him short! In only the first season, Immortal did the following: Not just that, but then in season 2, he did:

"Finch, our guy just fumbled a baddie and is about to kill himself."
