This country has seen some bad moments in the 61 years, 5 months, 16 days I’ve been on this Earth. But it has never, ever before come close to the supertoxic level of stupidity, mendacity, narcissism, nihilism, and moral apathy that threaten to destroy it today.

So when we remove birthright citizenship can we go by the mother? Because: Don Jr was born in 1977 Ivanka was born in 1981 Eric was born in 1984 Ivana became a US citizen in 1988. Barron was born in March 2006 Melania became a US citizen in July 2006. Trump’s entire family would be deported.

I fired up the app this morning, and read several posts, and was surprised by two things. (1) They were good news and positive in tone, and (2) neither was from Elon Musk. This puzzled me at first, until I realized I had opened the Blue sky app, not X. 🤣👍🏻 Keep up the good work, folks! ❤️

A key asymmetry of this era of American politics and how it’s covered is that Trump is expected to do bad and corrupt things, so when he does it barely qualifies as news. But Dems are expected to be beyond reproach, so anything that seems even slightly suspect is a huge scandal.
