I do !

Thoughts and prayer for the Pope!

Good!

Folks, it has been slow coming, but the resistance is beginning. The difference: in 2017, we did not know what the convicted felon would be like as president. We now know and a lot of folks, including those who voted for him, now don't like what they are seeing.

Keep an eye on this on folks!

Appearing today in The Week:

Mitch decides it is time to go! Should be an interesting time here in the Bluegrass State. Supposedly Daniel Cameron is ready to run. Stay tuned folks! (Although I have a hard time embracing Rand Paul and our Senior Senator!)

I'm sorry, he is not a king. He never will be and I will never bow down to someone who says they are in this country.

It's sad to see what billionaires have done to journalism and free speech!

Another plane crash? Wonder what kind of role DEI played in this one? I'm sure the Convicted Felon will figure out a way to divert our attention away from this and all the other ones as he fires more people from the FAA.

Remember when you celebrate President's Day tomorrow, there were plenty more than the Convicted Felon in our nation's history to honor.

And on FOX NEWS, no less.

I'm for the Rule of Law........ I like what I am seeing when GOP Lawyers stand up for it.

Sorry Mitch! You don't get a pass for recent no votes when you could have stopped all of this in January 2021. It's a little too late to be worried about the American People.

Time for an egg update. At an ALDI store on Bardstown Road in Louisville. Eggs are $5.46. Remember ALDI bill itself a cheaper. It's ironic there is a limit of two.

I normally don't defend the Associated Press, but good for the AP to stand up on something against the Gulf of America.

It's ironic that Musk is talking about an elected official (a Judge) who is running the country. This coming from an unelected official who is running the country.

I'm watching MSNBC right ow and I am watching Elon Musk explain what he was trying to do at DOGE, the Convicted Felon is just sitting there looking like he can't say anything. The Co-President is ruling the moment right now.

While the convicted felon was out renaming it the Gulf of America, the price of eggs at my Kroger store in Louisville saw an 80-cent increase to the price of eggs in just one week. Now, it's a penny under $5 a dozen. It's still the Gulf of Mexico, sorry folks.

Government can never control the mind of free women and men.

Just so everyone knows, the President of the United States does not dictate what art is. Sad to see the assault on the Kennedy Center. However, remember, no one gets to tell you what impact music has on your feelings. It's what you experience, not someone telling you what art is.

I say that because there are times when flooding the zone is the goal. But look back at the week, the US takes over Gaza, women's sports get caught in the middle of EO. s, and we are not even into week four.

It would appear in less than three weeks; the SLOW resistance is beginning to form regarding what the New (Convicted Felon) President is trying to accomplish. This Time Cover is going to increase the slow burn, me thinks.

First Mexico, then Canada! The tariffs on allies are not serious., it's part of flooding the zone. The stock market scared the man. It is designed to take our attention of Melon Usk who I really resent having access to my personal information. Congress is slowly rallying! Stay tuned.

I tend to agree. All of us democrats have been told to call our reps and pressure them to do something. I now believe after this weekend, we need to be pressuring the GOP as a wave of people who don't want what we are seeing.

Less than two weeks and we are already finding out the convicted felon is on a revenge tour. We were told that one. Now, tariffs are in place for Canada and Mexico. We were told that was going to happen too. Prices are heading upward. Tell me again, how this guy won?

Let us all brace ourselves folks, the tariffs are coming! The tariffs are coming!

After the bungled freeze memo, today's announcement of sending up to 30,000 migrants to Guantanamo is one of the most curious PR moves I have seen in 30 years. This administration is flooding the zone. The problem is, no one is telling them if these ideas are working.

Went shopping today, eggs still holding at $4.19 at my local Kroger. However, the Kirkland coffee I buy for my Keric went up from $36.99 to $37.99 for 120 cups of the breakfast blend.

And so it begins with ICE raids..... I wonder how long it will take for cell phone videos to begin surfacing which shows crying children, elderly people and others dragged out of homes, schools and work places.

So, out President lashes out at another country for not treating people with dignity? Says a lot about this man, who has no idea of world politics.

By the way, speaking as a dedicated Kentuckian, Mitch McConnel; does not get a pass for voting against the Secertary of Defense considering everything he has done against this Country. I felt I had to say it.

Something pretty to look at if you are tired of looking at snow and ice. My amaryllis is in full bloom......

Oh, day two of the news administration. I notice eggs at my Kroger store here in Louisville jumped from $3.99 to $4.19. Wonder when the campaign promise is going to kick in.

Been out of pocket for a few weeks. I see we have a new president funny how I managed to miss ALL of the inauguration ceremonies and festivities yesterday. Shucks!

It begins! I was coming back from a two-week trip checking on my 95-year-old stepmother and for the first time since I was in college, paid no attention to the inauguration. I wonder why?

I hope everyone had a great Christmas, My family is getting together on Saturday and I have managed to once again make my grandmother's jam cake (or applesauce cake depending on where you came from.) As one of my uncles use to say this cake has the groceries in it. Have a good weekend everybody!

Something nice to look at as winter begins. This is a shot from my driveway here in Louisville. No white Christmas but one of the few times a chilly night can be beautiful.

Well, Kroger on Breckenridge Lane in Louisville finally caught up. Eggs are now $3.99 and that is a 70 cent increase since last of November.

Will my amaryllis bloom before Christmas?

Rumblings are a new CR has been reached and guess what it included extending the debt ceiling till 2027. You remember the debt ceiling? That thing GOPers used on Dems when they wanted to gum up the works. Now, it's all good to keep raising it since a new President elect is out there. GO figure.

Just in case no one is paying attention!
