Shocked to see the wife of my allotment neighbour sitting outside the polling station sporting a reform rosette, they truly do walk amongst us. They don't even have the excuse of being disaffected working class being left behind, they're really well off. This changes things, wish me luck.

I finally got back to the allotment and had a big onion and shallot seedling planting session, about 200 multisown plants so far with more to follow. Soundtrack was mostly yellowhammer (nice, steady) and greenfinch (tedious). 🌱

I should be able to get back to S Cambs and our allotment early next week, in the meantime, today I am being brought (priorities!) some of my seeds (squashes, pattison, courgettes & parsnips) so that I can pre-germinate them to pot up or plant in a few days. 🌱
