I've been starting a bit of a psyop with my mom to slowly get her interested in Twitch for livestreams. With the uncertainty of TikTok staying around, I want her to have the option of something else. Out of all IRL content, it's probably the most sane and reasonable transition for her.

I've been fighting with computer hardware all night, but for good reason. Just upgraded my main rig and I moved my previous build into a smaller Micro ATX build to have on-hand as a server with some excellent compute to play with.

If there's one thing I'm thankful for, I've got a much healthier relationship with social media now thanks to ditching Twitter. I used to doomscroll all the time, but now I'm just vibing and hopping on it when I like. I hope on bluesky on occasion, and rednote when I just wanna see cool stuff.

Nobara is already so much better than Kubuntu right out of the box 😩 I still need to play around more in the terminal, but for the subtle changes I've found so far, I'm really not minding it. Fedora is neat.

I'm already distro hoppin' to nobara. Kubuntu felt kinda clunky in ways I'm far less knowledgeable in describing. I've heard good things for this one as a gamer, programmer, and "knows enough to be dangerous" Linux user, so I'm excited to try and settle in again on something different.

I've gotten some personal things in order again, and now I'm on a fun little tech kick. Got a few Raspberry Pis doing stuff around the apartment, a 3D printer on the way for my birthday, and in my cable overhaul I'm getting in tomorrow, I'm getting an SSD :3c See ya Windows!
