Since REI’s leadership are acting like a bunch of assholes, and I can’t cast a vote to get them out yet, where do ya’ll suggest getting #camping gear from?

I’m trying real hard not to be post negative shit and only talk about how we can help each other. I don’t really post online much because the people I follow/follow me all seem to be on the same page. But I talk to the people I see IRL a lot.

Sequels get a lot of shit for different reasons but holy shit are Home Alone 2 and Ironman 2 unwatchable after the last week. Granted Home Alone 2 has been a landline for awhile now.

There’s so many better streaming options than Spotify.

Is it better to follow news accounts or go to the news feed? If the news feed is a viable option I may need to drop my follows to limit my doomscrolling for my own sanity. #askbluesky

If you’re feeling helpless and can spare the money, you can donate to the @aclu.org and @hrc.org Cause to be honest, they know how to push back better than most do, and resharing the same posts in a possible echo chamber makes me feel insane.

I’ve seen all the news I need to today. It didn’t take much. But it’s time to regain energy and focus in more positive ways to continue moving forward. Continuing to scroll won’t accomplish anything.

Anybody else read anime titles like a Toonami announcer? Tom or Moltar.

I just need to point out that in a beloved Xmas movie an elf from Santa’s workshop would rather be in a profession with a high suicide rate. That’s how miserable the holiday season is.

If I have medical bills related to trying to make me happy while also wanting tickets to a festival to make me happy it’s more responsible to purchase the tickets, right? That relationship is much stronger and relies on less drugs.

YOU’RE RIGHT- - -

Listening to Eric Idle on Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend and heard that American’s see a house on the hill and want it, whereas other parts of the world want to burn it down. And here I am in disbelief that wanting the house was an option.

Learning to mask and drive yourself into burnout and deep depression feels like a punishment once you actually try to better yourself and ask for accommodations. Work doesn’t understand why they should accommodate you if your performance is high. Your lifespan can suffer for their profit.

Anybody who feels the need to control somebody else is a coward and weak as shit. Go work on yourself instead of bringing others down.

Sitting through the annual benefits meeting to remind me that healthcare in the U.S. is gambling on how healthy you’ll be next year.

Such a plug, but Your Friend in Reykjavik is such a great tour company. 5 years later and their emails, that are basically newsletters about events and their history in #Iceland, still make me smile. I know it’s marketing, but at least it’s enjoyable.

Trying to be a good person is the most punk thing you can do these days.

Games that let you pause cut scenes are sanity saving. Hours spent to be interrupted by family/neighbors/life in general destroying the payoff is a real bad way to end the day. Watching them later doesn’t provide the same sense of accomplishment.

I blame The Nightmare Before Christmas for #christmas stuff hitting stores in #October.

Be the best version of yourself. Be a werewolf. Happy werewolf Wednesday.

Joseph is right — the insignificance of this is total. We don’t have to all pretend that this stuff matters or is moving any needles that matter. It’s theater. It’s not very good theater. Go to the theater if you want to see some good theater.

Why I didn’t watch the debate: There’s nothing Trump can say to make me vote for him and I won’t validate him by giving him my attention. Watching what Biden does and reaching out to my local reps feels like a better use of time and energy.

Anyone telling you you have to look at violent images to have empathy for the problem at hand is lacking in empathy themselves. If the only way you can connect to travesty & manufacture a proper emotional and support response is by imbibing gore, that's a you problem. Don't do that to others.

Coworkers should not be given access to your personal phone number. Teams/Slack/whatever should be the only avenue of communication between us.
