It seems like there are a lot of Americans just learning about the modern history of South Africa. I’d recommend reading Country of my skull by Antjie Krog and Red Dust by Gillian Slovo - both of these helped me understand. I’m not South African, I’m Australian. It’s tough but necessary reading.

Excuse me while I wipe a proud tear, my husband just said “give me a yell when they start, I’d like to see Beth Mooney get her ton” 🥹 #womenssport #cricket

I’m totally here for the female sports and Swiftie takeover. Reporting for duty - OG Swiftie and in my forties playing all the traditional and non traditional sports through my decades so far. Count me in 🙌🔥💖

I love how Ilona Maher signed with a rugby club when the expectation was for her to be the next bachelorette. Reminding everyone to aim higher.

If I have to see a week full of book week dress ups, you can deal with a wrapped post. I don’t judge what your let your kids read or dress up as, so let’s not judge Spotify wrapped.

I travelled to Melb for #taylorswift & I travelled to Syd for #twentyonepilots Huge amounts in common: Loyal fans, friendship bracelets, singing, incredible artists & production. Differences: undercurrent of kindness at TS & undercurrent of anxiety at TOP in the crowd before the show. Loved both!

#ClancySydney #TwentyOnePilots 🔥 Start fresh next semester 🔥

Dear F1 gods, please don’t have Danika Patrick as a presenter this week. 🙏 She is the ultimate pick me girl of motor sport. I hear she’s busy being Trump’s Transportation Secretary anyway…

Hey guys, Not the collective use of the word “guys” - but specifically males who vote. I think it’s time to have a chat to your mates about their values. I’m pretty sure the women are tired of carrying you and supporting you, for like - forever.

Singing “Fuck the patriarchy” with 96,000 people was cathartic. It’s a core memory. #swifties

It feels calmer and kinder here. This was taken the day the Australian public voted no on the referendum, a lot of our faith in our fellow humans broke, but it became easier to know who you wanted to spend your time with. I thought this might help our neighbours after last week. đź«‚
