I finally got around updating this Chart. This chart reflects the status of the Russian Budget on a PER MONTH basis (in billions of Rubles) through the END of October. Basically, Russia reports this stuff in YTD format, then people don’t realize how they actually spend money. So I fixed that.

So as not to despair of humanity. Ferenc Krausz has decided to donate the sum he received for the Nobel Prize in Physics to the Science4People association that he founded 1.5 year ago. The NGO helps to rebuild schools in Ukraine for displaced children. A superb gesture. Pr. Krausz, you are a Mensch.
