The new Gaga album is a mixed bag overall, but Perfect Celebrity, Killah, and Zombieboy are all top tier A+ songs. Everything outside those 3 new tracks and the 2 singles, fall into a sort of generic mid-tempo soup I have a hard time connecting with and likely won’t have much staying power.

Happy 48th Birthday to Fleetwood Mac’s second album (of the all-star lineup) Rumors - obviously their most popular and well known record of all time. Probably Stevie Nicks strongest showing on a FM record, but Christine and Lindsays songs are also absolute fire on this thing. Literally zero skips.

Happy 48th Birthday to my favorite Pink Floyd album: Animals. Released January 21st, 1977. All I’ll say is the album’s themes are still very relevant… today especially. Also if you can make a 17+ minute song that doesn’t get boring (Dogs), that’s saying something.

Happy 27th Birthday to Air’s debut album Moon Safari! Released January 16, 1998. If you’re a homosexual like me you probably first heard their song ‘Sexy Boy’ in Queer as Folk. Absolute banger.

I’m a day late, but Happy 26th Birthday to Britney Spears debut album Baby One More Time, released January 12th, 1999. Standout singles from this album are the title track, Crazy, and Sometimes. My first memory of Britney was her dominating TRL on MTV in the late 90’s with videos from this album.
