As someone who has travelled across the Pacific to California on numerous occasions (including experiencing 2 earthquakes), my heart goes out to those suffering in Los Angeles. Our Aussie fire-fighters are ready to go- just give the word!

Having travelled west to east across the USA, I was shocked to see how differently news is presented in a Blue State to when you cross into a Red State. You can almost feel the intelligence level drop when you cross the border!

As an Aussie who has spent much time in America, I just realised that ALL my favourite cities (San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, New York, Boston) are in Blue States. Is this a coincidence?
