I think people *like* working. As long as you make the definition of that “performing tasks to achieve a goal”. Running is working, knitting is working, drawing is working. What people don’t like so much is working beyond reasonable capacity and getting inadequate feedback.

i think it's neat how art is like physical testaments about a person's beliefs or identity that exists long after they die. it's imperfect and messy. most of it sucks. it's a facet of something imperfect and it's cool that it gets to exist for however long people are there to witness it
