Word from the elementary school: The 5th grade is full of potty-mouths. Even the teachers who've been teaching 11 year olds for generations find it notable. These kids were in Kinder and 1st Grade when Zoom school was a thing, and learned a lot of new words from their parents while stuck at home.

1. LLM-generated code tries to run code from online software packages. Which is normal but 2. The packages don’t exist. Which would normally cause an error but 3. Nefarious people have made malware under the package names that LLMs make up most often. So 4. Now the LLM code points to malware.

I saw a Fisker Ocean in the wild today, and it was actually functional and driving on the street (instead of bricked with a bad software update). Pretty nice looking ride that's going to be a rare collectable someday.

Everyone in the neighborhood seems to have a gopher problem, digging up their lawn/garden from underground. But in our yard, we've also got coyotes and bobcats who like to dig up our yard from above, in an effort to eat the gophers that they can smell underground. It's not a good look.
