It's weird to think USA had terrible ppl like Joseph McCarthy, J Edgar Hoover who terrified the country looking for Communists. More than 50yrs later we have Donald Trump being best mates with Putin. Life is very weird.

I don't understand why Starmer is not pushing to join the customs union. Farage himself argued during the BREXIT debate that he wanted a Norway deal & mentioned the old common market. So he couldn't moan if we joined. I wish we were in the EU. But being in the customs union would be something.

We have gotten, our first winter snow this evening. I don't think of Christmas until after the 19th November because that was my dad's birthday, which will be tomorrow. Therefore I grew up in the habit of not buying items or preparing for things until after the 19th and it stuck with me.
