Anyone familiar with the Taoist "10 Ox Pictures". Used by Taoists to represent Path to Enlightenment. But many Westerners seem to think there is no "evil" or darkness within to control. What would the Ox represent then. And why do the pictures change from a black ox to a white ox?

The Seeker who stays the Path (Truth) has removed the dust from his eyes and the plugs from his ears. He considers his happening upon wealth, honor, poverty, attainment, loss, love, and aversion/desires, as clouds passing by in a windstorm, or ashes from a fire. Ming Confucian, Wang Yang-ming.
