Left: Kemi Badenoch criticising Rachel Reeves for not breaking the law Right: Kemi Badenoch laughing after confessing to breaking the law

It's very easy to vote to put a dictator into power.... ...but it will cost your loved ones their lives to remove him. The US electorate may despise the Russia system, but they'd have been wise to listen to the Russian people who know how this mistake plays out.

No single person, worker, or country can take on the US. When you see vigorous efforts to destabilise a union of people, workers or countries, chances are, it's US protectionism in action.

When terrible things happen it can be easy to believe the world is terrible; it's important to remember that there is far more good than evil. While there are a small number of people who commit horrific acts, there are literally millions of people who will save people from them.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Please watch this speech by Jess Phillips in the HoC to guage how pationate she is about the victims of Child Sex Abuse. www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0C6...

No, Isabel. Nope Economies tank when the 10% who own 85% of the wealth don’t pay their way, and expect the rest of us who share 15% of the wealth to take up the slack “Billionaires won’t create jobs if we tax them” is a myth made up by billionaires so we don’t tax them

I don’t take credit for this meme, but I do co-sign.

Can anyone explain why Fartage seems to be getting more media coverage than any other MP? Getting more time to speak in Commons, getting slots on TV ect... #bbcqt

And yet, any political party who put this in a manifesto would be labelled extreme, and voters convinced to vote against their own positions.

We need to encourage whistle blowers in all parts of our lives. Unions have a vital role in protecting workers when they raise concerns about unscrupulous and abusive bosses. We can't keep waiting until powerful people die, for the truth to come out and victims supported. 💔

Fuck this

91130 on the blocks at York on Friday 22nd Nov, ready to push a set of Mk4s back to Kings Cross.

Brexit, Trump, Reform, etc all have one thing in common..... ....they all make normal people look stupid in front of their peers as soon as they open their mouths to support. It's why they HAVE to exist on social media, it doesn't work in real conversations.

Britain is knee deep in an information war. Young men radicalised at shocking rates, conspiracy trumping facts, swathes willingly participating in subterfuge that goes against their interests. The usual fake patriots at the helm. Our system, lacking checks and balances, exploited. 1/

Do we think Farage and co are brave/stupid enough to have their January 6th moment? We appear to be seeing the same anti democratic path being taken against the UK government. Until profit is removed from shock journalism, and SM regulated, we will have an unstable world.

Nurses are STILL paying to park at work. Fuck your inheritance tax loopholes.

This isn't about farmers. This is about wealth protecting wealth. It's no coincidence that the high profile figures trying to stoke anger are the same PPL who gave you brexit, 0 hr contracts, higher retirement ages, tuition fees, and a host of other bad for normal people policies.

If you bring central London to a halt in order to campaign against catastrophic climate change then you're a "barmy" eco "fanatic" who deserves to be locked up. If you do the same to hang on to your multimillion pound inheritance tax exemption then you're a brave freedom fighter defying the odds

Annual leave this week, up to York for the Christmas market (for her) and railway museum (for me). Had manflu for about 3 weeks, it's finally letting up, thank gawd.

"People of Bluesky! Let's get to know each other better! What's your favourite movie?" Death of Stalin. This scene....

This is the scene from the film where the bad guys think they got away with it. But the film never ends at that point....

All #railwayfamily get a follow back.

I assume the only difference between this platform and 'the other place' is the choice the owner makes as to what content they choose for their algorithm to push. Great comparison to show just how strong the political bias was over there. I hadn't realised, and I'm fairly clued up.

The more this place reminds me of why I liked social media so much the more I realise that I stopped doing so a long time ago. It’s extraordinary what happened. The volume & violence of posts from accounts you had never shown the slightest interest in just exploded. It *must* have been deliberate.

Well, this is nice.
