I mostly cover indie and fringe stuff, but my not-so-secret shame is that I quite enjoy most of Ubisoft's modern output, and think that the memetic haze surrounding them is largely untrue. I would have been OBSESSED with the Witcher'y Assassin's Creed trilogy (Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla) as a kid.

Dragons Dogma 2 is one of those games where if you think of the plot as the plot it is a hot mess. But if you think of the plot as a sprawling adventure romance with your main pawn its a great story.
