Oh this might be working well enough to use, what happens when you boot a game? What region is the game and the console? There is a bug in v1.4.0

But what Laser and Motor assembly are you using to build the DVD drive itself?
comment in response to post
I am assuming you are using an existing assembly and laser with a custom controller board?

why didn't you opt to use that USB-C alt mode HDMI adapter to make it one plug??

This is so cool... I'd love to see a barrel jack / car charger dongle and or Inverter addon

Yes it is safe to downgrade

Sorry if this seems like a harsh response! I just mean I can't update everything individually, it's easier to do all in one place

The yellow dot in the middle has a darker border than the one on the flower, making the width of the border "feel" impossible. I would suggest a modifier that makes darker transition lines thicker

Yes yes exactly, and to the same tune you can use WebRTC and hardware encode to get something that is ~20ms slower over the network (PCs both on Ethernet) I made a "VNC but better" app that does that so I can easily do CAD from my laptop

Yeah I think Parallels calls it Unity mode... I don't think Hardware is going to be made specifically for this kind of thing, it is just so cheap to do this all with software when you look at the amount of latency (all local you can get down ~2 frames)
comment in response to post
Are you thinking of a specific use-case where you need latency to be as low as possible and have arbitrary PIP
comment in response to post
It's a bit complicated hah but an interesting approach!

Oh why not use the ProDG tools for SN-DevLink? I think it includes a debugger similar to what MetroTRK offers
comment in response to post
Yeah I also have a few of them, it is annoying setting up the ProDG drivers

It's a really neat console!!

It would be nice to do a comprehensive GamePad API replacement for Portable consoles... I have been working with @mks.bsky.social on this goal :D
