I had to meet with Poilievre ages ago as part of a farm lobbying day. He was a dickhead then, and nothing has changed. He was the only politician from all parties we met with, who was rude and uninterested in the concerns of farmers from across the country.

@daviddoel.bsky.social It seems to me that the Trump rhetoric around Canada is a serious attempt at manufacturing consent; setting us up as the target of blame for the harm done to the US by his orders as a pretense for hostile takeover. I don't see anyone directly addressing this and it worries me.
