Five things I did last week … 1. Wake up 2. Brush my teeth 3. Sign autographs 4. Your mom 5. Donate my Elon Sux-mobile to NPR

I just downloaded a new web browser and went to sign into Bsky and happened to see among the most popular content, a horrifically prolific nature content scraping account that has nearly 100k followers, so it's time to reshare this block list. ALL of those accounts are theft. BLOCK THEM.

My father was a twice Fulbright scholar who spent his life teaching and contributing to scientific research. The pause in Fulbright grants by the State Department would have horrified him.

Ladies and gentlemen... the weekend. (also: you are important and are not alone 🧡)

Valentine’s Weekend

Both my kid and I forgot to take our ADHD meds before going to see Dog Man at the movie theater. We are both now activating hermit mode. (Movie was exactly as if you took the books and put them on screen so tons of constant visual stimulation which meant it held our attention but wore us out)

I had one last slice of banana bread made by the amazing @tumerboy.bsky.social and decided to put some Nutella on it just to try. I can never have banana bread and Nutella at home at the same time anymore. Too dangerous.

there are only 3 kinds of game producers. i will not explain

Hey, who's got a Little Free Library in their neighborhood or a bulletin board in their building? Weekend project for ya.

Barracuda home opener!

Dew elevates spiderwebs from fascinating architectural structures to stunning works of art.

Hey so everyone do me a solid? Add THIS new gem to your Halloween viewing. Charming story, killer stop motion anim and @magicalmistylee.bsky.social absolutely KILLS IT as Witch Hazel and Disney need to see that we want MORE.

Why are these so much better than regular shaped veggie chips?

I find making my kid’s lunch a painfully boring task so I picked up some shape cutters to make it more fun. It actually works to help me get her lunch packed without internally whining/tantrumming. (Peanut butter flowers, chicken nuggets, dark chocolate covered almonds, and carrot stars)

Came into the bedroom the other day to find Whomper looking like this. K says he didn’t do it so either the stuffy comes alive or K and I have awesome rolling out of bed techniques.

Strahd defeated.

I grew a spaghetti squash from seed!

Bliss

Sometimes you just need a murloc mug of coffee.

To set the proper tone for this account, here’s a picture of how my kid eats toast.
