It really is, but if I may: Iā€™m currently listening to The Thirty Names of Night, and your reading of it is absolutely amazing!!! Everything is hard right now, but this is a light in the darkness and Iā€™m very very grateful for it.

I really really really miss your chest hair/beard care videos on YouTube. I know youā€™re busy making a bunch of hot content, and I love you for it, but those videos were both sexy and relaxing. Hoping we get more in the future sexy.

Is there any chance we can get an update about how Mallory is doing during the fires? I havenā€™t heard anything all week.

I'd love to add (to this already great list) Waymond Wang from Everything Everywhere All At once. Every single version of him in that multiverse movie is kind, a great father, a great husband, and an all around gentle soul who can still be a badass when he needs to be.

You need to sign off for a minute while the grown ups are talking.

Ok, and now you're repeating my point as though you're making a different point, all while still continuing to pretend like there's a way to justify anyone supporting genocide. I'm honestly sorry I engaged you at all. Please, keep your attention on the UK and leave us alone.

Equally, it's evidence that they do not find it "acceptable" as you claimed, and they factor into that "1/2 the country" calculation you made. You're talking in circles for the sake of pretending like genocide is "acceptable" and it's really not ok.

Staying. Home. Was. The. Third. Choice. In addition to that, there were third party candidates who were openly against genocide. If the system were interested in getting their message out, any one of those candidates could have collected more votes than both other candidates.

You're wrong. 1/2 of the country does not see it that way. You people keep talking about 1/2 the country on the basis of an election in which more registered voters stayed home rather than vote for either of the two genocide candidates. www.commondreams.org/news/harris-...

Nah, you can pretend like genocide is acceptable because both sides do it if you want to. My moral code says anyone and everyone who participates in, funds, or help hide and lie about genocide is wrong regardless of their race, gender, religion or political affiliation. Period!

Honestly, craft a real argument, or get out of my notifications with this idiocy.

She literally did though. Your ignorance doesn't change that.

If my boss said "jump" I'd jump. If my boss said "Go out in front of these cameras and lie and cover up all of the brown children we've murdered!" then I would absolutely fucking quit before doing that. Don't pretend like we don't have standards just because you don't!
comment in response to post
Ah yes, the age old "Excusing a genocide is fine when our side does it, but the other side is going to be so much worse!" argument. You really gotta love America in the way they don't care about murdered children unless they're being murdered under the opposition's watch.

She absolutely did do exactly that! With skill and aplomb, she paved her path to hell by using her identity to shield white supremacists from any accountability for their genocidal crimes. Wake up! She's been spreading their lies about Gaza for over a year now!
comment in response to post
Nah, I will not allow you to besmirch the memory of Civil Rights leaders like this! They absolutely did not do what they did so that a Black woman could whitewash the genocide being committed by this white supremacist society. You fundamentally don't understand the Civil Rights Movement!
comment in response to post
Will there ever be a better token to help cover up and lie about the crimes of the administration while hiding behind their marginalized identity as impressively as she did? The first queer, Black person to spin, propagandize and generally hide genocide from the American public! So proud!!!

Best genocide enabler of our lifetimes for sure.

Just going to assume these are related.

I donā€™t believe for one second that thatā€™s the reason theyā€™re banning it.

Nor to the man who appointed him as some kind of ceremonial gesture after he was denied a SCOTUS seat. I don't think history will look kindly on the Dems at all talking about "defending democracy" and then fumbling the ball so hard at every moment they had to do so.

Cute, do America next!!!

While I don't disagree with your premise, I will say 57 yards doesn't mean what it used to. Haven't there been multiple 60+ yard FGs made this season alone? The free kick aspect was lost, and the commentators certainly needed to emphasize that more, but 57 yards just isn't it anymore.

The Right has been moving further right for decades and the Dems have chased after them, pulling the entire establishment to the right, and this is your take? Yā€™all really refuse to learn a single lesson, huh?
comment in response to post
There's no reason to assume that the other 2 branches will do anything different. The repubs left in Congress are the ones with a proven history of either agreeing with or standing aside for Trump's BS, and we've seen the capture of SCOTUS. The recent history seems to point in only 1 direction.

Speaking of not asking for opinions, who the fuck on this thread ever asked for yours? Thatā€™s unhinged behavior right there. Pretending like youā€™re so important that you can barge in whenever but someone else deserves to be dismissed for doing the exact same thing.

Russian propaganda?!?!? Like wtf ages you even talking about? You people really ate too stupid to function. Gdiaf.

Win where he needed. Other people running, and the public voting for who they want is NEVER the problem. Thatā€™s what we call democracy. If you hate democracy so much, then rejoice at the fact that the fascist will end. Otherwise just stfu.
comment in response to post
This is bull shit. You people always want to boil every election down to one thing and make pretend like thatā€™s why it went the way it did. Thatā€™s never true. If gore had won every state, he would have won. Thatā€™s a pointless statement. SCOTUS fucked gore, gore didnā€™t run a good enough campaign to
comment in response to post
I think the centrists can fuck all the way off. Their failed policies, their insistence on working with fascists, their piss poor campaigning is why those candidates lost. Gore didnā€™t lose btw, it was taken from him by SCOTUS, but go off I guess? Keep blaming voters if you want, itā€™s idiotic but w/e

Not sure you're allowed to say that on BluSky. I suggested there should be an upper cap on the age for the President and got a bunch of shit for it.

Some of us were already boycotting McDs due to their support of genocide, but welcome to the party.

In all honesty, if you don't get the second part, I don't think you really understand the first part either. But that's just me.

Weā€™re talking past each other and clearly not even talking about the same things anymore. Have a day.

Iā€™m not trying to say one thing did it, Iā€™m saying we need to be ready to engage with the things she did wrong that factored into her losing. You saying offering more liberal policy wouldnā€™t have helped is what I think is untrue.
