Let's be clear: CQ Brown was fired because Trump and Hegseth couldn't see past his skin color. General Brown has 40 years of distinguished service. Trump and Hegseth just want yes men who look like them. This is destabilizing for our nation.

This is how it’s done.

Trump take egg

Medicaid is not for sale. NASA is not for sale. The Post Office is not for sale. America is not for sale. We have an obligation to resist kings. We outnumber them. And they can be overwhelmed.

Orange man bad?

Gov. Polis was on Politico’s “Governors Summit” yesterday. He praised DOGE’s apparent plans to get rid of the penny, criticized Trump’s tariffs, reiterated his support for RFK Jr. as HHS Secretary, threw cold water on running for president, and said he hopes to learn from DOGE. Full quotes:

If you want to learn more about Republicans for National Renewal, the group behind this, you’re in luck!

It never wriggles.

The only real underlying principle of Republican politics today is that they hate. *HATE* helping people. Freedom Caucus in WY added an amendment to an affordable housing bill to make it so local gov can't implement incentives to build affordable housing projects. So now it's just useless.

Teachers teach. We need a leaderful movement, and there are leaders all around us.

"The new Civil Service ‘law’ leaves me, as a front-line veteran, in my post—at least for the time being. But all-around rabble-rousing, misery, fear and trembling. A worker or employee who is not nationally minded can be dismissed in any factory, [and] must be replaced by a nationally minded one..."

Extraordinary story the Wall Street Journal. X is threatening advertisers that if they don’t spend more, Elon Musk will use his influence in government to block company mergers. That’s extortion.

Call me crazy but I don't see the federal government using my tax dollars to employ people to do jobs as waste.

As federal job cuts take effect, we're working to understand how they impact federal workers, their families and communities across Wyoming. Your perspective can help shed light on the consequences of these cuts and how they're shaping public lands, national parks, workforce and economy. 👇

Putting a face to what you read in the news. Until last Friday, I served our nation working as a Research Ecologist with the US Geological Survey (USGS). As a federal scientist, I provided robust, defensible information to support good decisions in natural resource management.

This same court will find no problem with Trump's rule changes. Illegit courts.

I’m proud of my @WyoFile team for digging into the stories of the hundreds Wyoming residents who lost their jobs the last couple days. Heartbreaking, indiscriminate downsizing that is uprooting individuals and families and crippling federal agencies. wyofile.com/valentines-d...

The government has yet to disclose how many federal workers in Wyoming lost their jobs, despite repeated inquiries. Many of those affected, however, shared their stories with WyoFile, and their fears for the agencies they once served. wyofile.com/valentines-d...

House Bill 172, "Repeal gun free zones and preemption amendments," would allow concealed carry in any schools, government buildings and meetings, as well as college and university sporting events that do not serve alcohol.

I genuinely have no words to convey the dread and sorrow and fear that extends to the depth of my soul

The next fire is 100% on trump

Wyoming has long been proud of its rugged individualism, small-government conservatism and our ethos of live and let live. But in recent years, particularly for transgender residents, that image has begun to feel like a cruel illusion. 🧵 1/2

A worsening measles outbreak has taken root in Texas, sickening two dozen and hospitalizing nine on the western edge of the state, where childhood vaccination rates have dwindled in recent years.

The WY legislators who mention Title IX incessantly as they’re pushing anti-trans legislation should be up in arms about this.
