Dem leaders and operatives saying “focus on pocketbook issues,” completely miss that due process *is* a pocketbook issue. Tourists, students, investors, citizens all depend on rule of law. Just because lawlessness is state-sponsored, doesn’t mean it ain’t crime, and crime is bad for the economy.

Apparently it did get cell phone reception in 2020, using a law that was passed under President Obama, which I think brings out the real problem with this - rural America is a bunch of people who are demanding that the government subsidize their lives so they can live an unsustainable lifestyle.
