January 31st the normally supportive Wall Street Journal judged Trump’s tariffs on Canada and Mexico the “dumbest trade war in history.” Also one of the most destructive acts one could take to torpedo the US economy.

The cluelessly entertaining White House press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, asserted this week that “we want to restore the Department of Justice to an institution that focuses on fighting law and order.” Job done!—by disrespecting a plethora of statutes and judicial decisions. Very Freudian.

So, this is probably the Trump/RFK Jr strategy for the next pandemic: Let the disease run its course and see why the survivors made it. The billionaire bros will sweat it out in their well-stocked bunkers of course. Hope you weren’t expecting lower egg prices anytime soon.

Today the United Nations General Assembly voted 93 to 18 to approve a resolution condemning Russia’s aggression in invading Ukraine and demanding an immediate withdrawal. The Trump regime joined Russia in opposing the measure. A disgraceful turnabout by the US that betrayed Ukraine.

Just when you think the Trump regime couldn’t go any lower, they announce a $5 million scheme to let wealthy foreigners buy their way into the US. At the same time he’s removed protected status from Afghanis and Venezuelans. Trump said the program could “possibly” include Russian oligarchs. Yep.
