Just a few years ago Trump didn't mind birthright citizenship. In fact, he probably made kickbacks from it. www.standard.co.uk/lifestyle/lo...

Of course. Republicans are evil. electrek.co/2025/02/21/t...

Just in time for a potential bird flu pandemic. arstechnica.com/health/2025/...

The January 6th attackers are suing for wrongful incarceration. And with this Department of Justice they just might get paid for attacking the Capitol and beating police officers. How sickening is this?

The military flying people out of the United States to a foreign prison is very unconstitutional. It violates "due process". This military is indeed willing to follow unconstitutional orders, and from a 34x felon pResident.

I wonder what year it was when Vladimir Putin realized that he could plug his disinformation into Fox News and the rest of the right wing media with success? Has it been going on for decades?

The United States is aligning with Russia and Republicans are just fine with that. I'm 68 years old and I lived through the Cold War and I cannot fucking believe this is happening.

The GAO and Inspectors Generals did a good job of preventing waste, fraud, and abuse in our federal government. Trump has decided to decimate these and any other independent watchdogs within the federal government.

IRS information can be a especially useful in blackmailing people of influence. Musk is in regular contact with Putin. Do the math.

We are heading into "disaster capitalism". First they create the chaos Then they dismantle. Then they privatize. And then they rule without regulations or being accountable to democracy.

When corporate power dismantles and takes over a federal government it is one of the very definitions of fascism. Authoritarian rule where you have no democracy and you have basically zero rights. Privatization of our federal government is the actual "enemy within".

Impoundment Control Act of 1974 These laws require Congress to be involved in approving or disapproving spending freezes or spending cuts. Civil Service Reform Act of 1978 These laws guide the legal procedures to follow in order to fire a federal employee.

We used to execute traitors by firing squad. Now one is pResident.

The Impoundment and Control Act of 1974 Here's the synopsis. Freezing funding: "...Deferrals must be reported to Congress, and they can be overturned by Congress if either the House or the Senate passes a resolution disapproving the deferral."

Some good news for a change Today marks the 4th year of Rush Limbaugh's sobriety. What to go Rush? 🎉

The "Second Amendment solution" folks are perfectly happy with what's going on right now. They are quiet as church mice. They told you they needed their guns to fight against a tyrannical government however, what they didn't tell you is that they're okay with a rightwing tyrannical government.

I don't call undocumented immigrants "illegals" or "illegal aliens". Why? Because I don't want to feed into these race-based terms that are commonly used by racists.

Corporate agribusiness fields? Corporate meat packing plants? Texas oil fields? No, those are big Republican donors. ICE would much rather raid schools and restaurants and make big dramatic scenes like they're doing something useful. www.latintimes.com/dallas-polic...

The United States military has already obeyed an unconstitutional order from Donald Trump with its flights to Guantanamo. This tells us they're going to do anything he commands them to do no matter the constitutionality or law. Something that the mainstream news is not putting together for you.

'I have a dilemma': Roofer claims customer backlash to Cybertruck cost him $70K in a month www.rawstory.com/cybertruck-2...

President Donald Trump says he wants to reverse the decision and permit Russia to rejoin the group of the world’s major industrialized democracies, while also slashing America’s defense budget by 50 percent. “I'd love to have them back, I think it was a mistake to throw them out,” said Trump...

This stood out to me: "... executive branch agencies that have been hidden from Congress for decades..." What is that little monkey saying here? The Congress has subpoena power and the ability to look at any budget or structure of the federal government, after all Congress created them.

How much money has Trump made providing "birthright citizenship" to Russians? What a hypocrite. weta.org/watch/shows/...

First they dismantle. Then they privatize. Then they rule without regulations or democracy.

Another question a reporter will never ask Trump: "Sir, you have proposed doing away with birthright citizenship however in the past you've allowed Russian birth tourism onto your properties so that Russian women could have babies here that become citizens. What do you say about this conflict?"

This from a guy who has housed Russian birth centers on his properties.

Of course he has since deleted this. 😮🤦

There's not enough Willie Nelson @farmaid money to save small farms from their foolish voting habits. The big players in agribusiness will swallow their land up after they go broke from Trump's cuts. investigatemidwest.org/2024/11/13/t...

Trump is going on and on about trying to end birthright citizenship however does anybody remember this, some of which occurred on his properties? www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...

tRump and musk are not cutting the federal government to save us taxpayers money. They are gutting the federal government in order to privatize it. Privatization makes the oligarchs wealthier and destroys accountability from the public. Plus it costs the American taxpayers a hell of a lot more.
