You know what would make the Pokemon Presents perfect for me, personally? They go the HD 2D remake route for their next game. I'll always say this is the gold (heh) standard for how a Pokemon game should look. Improving on this formula would be incredible.

Can't say I didn't expect this possibility, but I'm shelving Elden Ring for the foreseeable future. The Alberich NPC invader debacle kinda broke me & I suddenly realized that, 10s of hours in, I was starting to feel more stressed & overwhelmed than enjoying things. It's mostly a "me" thing. (1/4)

Issues of Nintendo Power are one of the few things left in retro gaming where the prices still seem very affordable. It seems like most issues can be had for $20 and under, and there's only a few heavy hitters that are expensive. My goal is to one day collect them all, if they stay cheap enough. 🎮🕹️

Defeated my first Elden Ring bosses! Managed to beat the two Demi-Human Chiefs & the Beastman of Farum Azula. Fairly certain these are super early-game bosses meant to be easy ones, but hey, especially for a Soulsborne noob like myself -- a win is a win! lol. #EldenRing #FirstPlaythrough

For fans of Donkey Kong Country-styled games, this is a lovely one. Basically playing as Dixie Kong who uses masks to transform into different forms (akin to Animal Buddies a la DKC). On its own merits, it's well designed and fun!

Sister came over to hang out with my wife & I after birthday stuff got snowed out last week. Chilled, ate pizza, watched a Phineas & Ferb movie & tomorrow maybe gonna play some WarioWare multiplayer together. Not a bad weekend. Hope all y'all are doing well too 👍
