Today I made chicken noodle soup for the first time. It’s probably no big deal but I’ve been off work sick for a while and barely functioning. I stopped cooking a few years back whilst caring for my terminally ill family (my dad and 2 sisters). Just for out of the habit. Progress today

Reading Careless People is a must. If you did or don’t vote for Trump and if you have a meta account (Facebook or IG etc) you need to read it. #carelesspeople

Loved seeing @benstiller.redhour.com Dichen Lachlan and Adam Scott on @bbcone.bsky.social the one show tonight. A pity it was a small segment on #severance but our whole household was chuffed to see them. The 13 year old boy was surprised by Miss Casey’s accent 💛

So - I’m still wondering about the smile wall in the perpetuity wing. Is there a deeper meaning? #severance

@bbc Motherlwnd is keeping me sane. #shitshop 💩💨

All I know is I’m more than ready for a cure for endo #endometriosis and to run away with Tramell Tilman, Adam Scott or Dichen Lachman or the whole cast of #severance Fairly wife Patricia Arquette could cure me whilst we have a laugh.

I find the Agatha Christie on bbc1 really annoying with the fake nails, fake tan and lip filler. It ruins the period setting. We need the setting as the story relies on norms of the time.

And why doesn’t Natalie go by Miss Kalen? Or Helena as Ms Eagan?

Hi - can anyone who has endometriosis and ovary involvement share your experience of this? I’ve had it on my bladder, rectum and cervix, but have recently developed what feels like a stabbing and/or twisting pain on my left. It’s settled w bit but overnight was awful. I had to stand up and rock

Waiting to watch the next episode of #Severance I’m panicking that Mark S will change too much for me to handle.

Looking forward to the brand new #Amandaland today plus new #AmIbeingunreasonable @daisymaychase.bsky.social

Recovery buddy

Great big double-bill of comedy on BBC1 on Wednesday 5th February: at 9pm there’s Amandaland, a spin-off from Motherland, and at 9.30pm there’s the second (and riotous) series of Am I Being Unreasonable?

So, I’m thinking about writing something. Just for me. The problem is I haven’t really spent time on a hobby since I was a child. How does anyone sit and write without feeling the pressure to not be a self indulgent fool? Or worrying it’ll be discovered when you’re on your death bed.

The woman on insta just clicks her fingers and the dishes are done, dishwasher is empty and the work surfaces are spotless. She then just uses her electric squeegee. My clicky fingers are broken.

So I’m new to #severance but what are people thinking about the analogue technology, 70s hairstyles and the setting being in the winter with snow, which is disorienting and could be covering up the true location? I’ve wondered if there is an energy crisis or if the whole town is an experiment.

Day surgery complete. It was very simple procedure and so I was surprised it exacerbated my endometriosis up. I woke in a lot of pain but the recovery team were excellent. I was so sure they wouldn’t believe me. I’d stayed on the same conveyor belt style unit in 2018 and had a very bad time

My kids are convinced that Alex from the Traitors is in fact Bryony from Arthur Christmas. I’m guessing it’s the hat, Scottish accent and maybe his face shape? I’m trying to tell them there’s more than once Scot in the world.

I’m considering renting Conclave - if you’ve seen it - is it worth it?

Cameron Diaz and Jamie Fox are not for me. Interview on Graham Norton was ick. Neither seem able to read the room

Such sad news about Dame Joan - suck a legend
