The early morning crowd visiting the water dish. It's nice to see the Western fence lizards out early. Nice temps today then cooler with rain and storms next week. Little squirrel is becoming a regular. There's a sugar water mix in the green lid at back, the rocks are to hold it down due to wind.

I may have only lived in Salem, near Portland, for 6 months, but it was so beautiful and I miss the fresh air. I still have dreams about the landscapes and smells.

I just realized the date she passed away April 28th 2020 was about the same date I left Lahaina 6 years ago the first time. It wasn’t the last time I returned to Maui but it was the last time I saw her in person. 😱
