@sbworkersunited.org I signed the pledge but am feeling out of the loop. What are the parameters of the No Contract, No Coffee pledge? Is it a boycott of only non-union stores? Is it a full boycott? If so, what needs to happen before we go back to support the workers at our favorite union stores?

Every casino and resort on the Vegas Strip is now 100% union. The Culinary and Bartenders Unions have reached an agreement with Fontainebleau Las Vegas, and for the first time in the 90-year history of the strip every establishment is totally unionized. 963kklz.com/2025/03/06/l...

1/ There is a dichotomy of meaning on the right when they say “big government”. It used to refer to the amount of power it holds over the people. To MAGA leadership it is the size of the workforce. The number of people earning tax dollars that they want to pocket for themselves. #KeepCalmAndOrganize

Where you at Dems ? You fighting to get them far better severance or going to ignore them, and all others in similar circumstances?

Union strong! Solidarity forever! ✊

1 hour into the day and the NASDAQ is down nearly 2.25%. The worst part? This will hurt the middle class the most. Between increased layoffs and losses in assets for retail investors while billionaires have been shorting the market. Yet another major transfer of wealth from bottom to top.

UPDATE: When the LA wildfires began earlier this month, Starbucks baristas reported working in unsafe conditions, with one store's video going viral on social media. In response, these workers organized and fought back - and later won catastrophe pay. Hear their story below 👇

As a former barista, I'm so proud of these workers trying to unionize!

Organize. Fight for your fair share. Hold billionaires and greedy corporate CEOs accountable. Win. aflcio.org/formaunion

The best part about unions? It’s not just about the members. It’s not just the collective bargaining, or having a process and representation in contract disputes. It’s not just the community or sense of belonging. It’s that strong unions move policy, they change the world #KeepCalmAndOrganize

A feeling of belonging, a sense of support, and the knowledge that I am not alone. Recognizing that my actions mean something and affect those around me, and being aware of the impact that my efforts have on championing my people. These are some of the many benefits of unions! #KeepCalmAndOrganize

Just a thought 🤔

In 2023, the number of labor strikes increased by over 280% compared to the year before. But that’s nothing in the big picture. Now look at income gain over those same big picture years. Do you see the pattern? We can and we must take this country back from the oligarchs! #KeepCalmAndOrganize

Happy New Year’s Eve y’all!

Times are hard and honestly, we don’t know what 2025 is going to bring us. What we do know is that together, we have power. But in order to harness that power, we must keep calm, stay positive, organize and support each other! #KeepCalmAndOrganize

#OtD 30 Dec 1936 the great GM sitdown strike in Flint, MI, began with a wildcat strike of 50 workers against transfer of 3 inspectors. Workers occupied the plant until February, winning union recognition and decisively changing the balance of power. More: shop.workingclasshistory.com/...

2025 ushers in a new era. We have the power to make this an era of solidarity, an era of power for the little guys, an era of reckoning for the oligarchy. We must fight to win back the principles that our founding fathers fought so hard to develop a nation around! #KeepCalmAndOrganize

Strikes are never the goal. A strike is the last resort. It does not mean WORKERS want more. A strike means workers NEED more. It may be inconvenient for you, but it could mean A LIVING for workers. Never cross a picket line and remember that it could be you next. #KeepCalmAndOrganize #Solidarity

A free market requires a free labor market. Large corporations and automation remove this aspect. Monopolization means the market is not truly fair or free. There must be parity between employees and employers! #KeepCalmAndOrganize
