Interlibrary loans suspended in South Dakota. Without federal library funding, libraries across the state may be forced to halt or charge for sharing books—a service vital to students, families, and rural communities. southdakotasearchlight.com/2025/04/15/s... #ForOurLibraries

How wonderful is @carolineleavitt.bsky.social? This wonderful. Grateful for a chance to talk about my first novel for adults with one of the best there is. This coming Thursday, on the A Mighty Blaze channel. @tursulowepress.bsky.social #Philadelphia #literaryfiction #writingcommunity

“The buying of more books than one can read is nothing less than the soul reaching toward infinity.” —E. Edward Newton

"Over weeks and months, I worked to gain his trust. I fed him by hand, spoke softly, and let him come to me on his terms. The day he finally wagged his tail when I entered the room, I felt something I hadn’t experienced in years—hope." theappeal.org/how-prison-d...

This bill would require voters to bring proof of citizenship to the polls, so no more mail-in ballots, etc.. Call your reps and urge them to vote no. #handsoff our vote

I keep telling my academic friends to turn their books into short pamphlets and to hand those out for free in their communities. I excerpted a chapter from a friend's book last year, made it into a zine, and so far I've distributed 400 hard copies and it's also available for digital download.

#handsoff protest in Philly and it’s a BIG one.

Share pictures from the protests today, and amplify them when others share. The public hates what the GOP is doing to this country--and it's critical for everyone to know that people are fighting back.

So my phone started blowing up last night because guess who's on the banned book list at the naval academy? Yours truly. Go support an author today and buy a book off of this this list... Doesn't even have to be mine. Gift link coming
