What a day to buy your first ever home, huh............ www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

A few weeks old now, but this is an excellent piece by @sanyaburgess.bsky.social - finding gambling companies running ads in mobile games for children inews.co.uk/news/mobile-...

Me and my wife got each other identical cards for our 15 year anniversary. And somehow we both completely failed to notice they’re actually leaving cards not love cards lol! (Waddle I do without you —-> What’ll I do without you) What are the chances lol

Lola’s hugging Mr Brakes with her ear, what else do you even need in life

Yes, if you follow me you get to see a lot of bunny photos. But I will also from time to time point at the journalism I'm doing. It may seem a silly story about yet more Reddit Drama - but today's story has got big ramifications even for you posting here on BlueSky. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Fun fact, I’m pretty sure that this is the first ever BBC article about Dynasty Warriors! My gratitude to Tomohiko Sho for the interview, and to Koei Tecmo for both arranging it and a translator :) Why Dynasty Warriors makers scrapped sequel to reinvent series www.bbc.com/news/article...

Just two days until phase 1 of the bonding is complete and their run doubles in size! Should I film it when they explore the new space? 🐇 🐇うさぎ<3

Me, this morning: I’m just gonna have a chill day I’ve got so many emails to go through Me, this afternoon: je m’appelle le BBC

If you don’t know, rabbits aren’t like other pets when it comes to making friends. You can’t just add one into another’s space. You have to “bond” them slowly over time, gradually introducing them to each other in a small space until they can be left alone safely. But the results are so worth it

This photo is one of the better gags I got past editors… My interview with Sega president Shuji Utsumi: Sega considering Netflix-like game subscription service www.bbc.com/news/article... And once you’ve read that, here’s a thread with my thoughts and a few things that didn’t make the article

You know it’s a cool research method when the BBC asks to replicate it. I used social media ad repositories to find that 93% of ads failed to disclose loot box presence: doi.org/10.1016/j.cl.... @twgerken.bsky.social of BBC News found 90.9% of games failed to comply: www.bbc.co.uk/news/article....

You know those ads on Facebook most people ignore? I spent hours watching them so you don’t have to. And I discovered that more than 90% of the top 45 highest grossing games that include loot boxes aren’t mentioning them in their ads - breaking the advertising regulator’s rules.

I’m not saying I’m a big ol nerd but at the video game arcade my wife and friends took me to this weekend I did a full 360 spin on the ddr machine and didn’t miss a step

Follow my pal Al, he’s a top guy

What a great article from @genepark.bsky.social - hard to believe that there was a time people were criticising Metaphor ReFantazio for being “just a fantasy Persona”. It’s so so so so so much more than that. www.washingtonpost.com/entertainmen...

A 15-year-old who died of leukaemia in 2006, dubbed "the patron saint of the internet" by some, will now officially become the first-ever millennial saint when he is canonised in April. I've really enjoyed covering this story for the past few months! www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

People never tell you before you get bunnies that they’re almost too cute to be real

BBC Japan translated my article!!! Arigatou gozaimasu!! I want to work in BBC Tokyo one day so badly… can you tell where in Japan my profile and banner pics were taken?? www.bbc.com/japanese/art...
