Apparently Trump thinks Canadians will have better health care if he annexes our country as a 51st state. We spend half as much per capita on healthcare but have a much longer life span. Universal healthcare works much more efficiently. No need to deflect $ to admin and profits.

I treat survivors of trauma, some of which is beyond imagining. Let me be clear. Gestures of oppression and hate are intended to instill fear and perpetuate the horrors tied to them. A gesture of hate is active participation in harm to other human beings. It is violence.

I encourage folks to move away from New Year's resolutions and instead focus on intentions. Rather than treat yourself like a machine with production value, think about your dreams. What makes you feel good? Aim for those things. Don't guilt yourself all year. Let yourself grow.

Traffic accident deaths will drop from 12.7 per 100,000 to 5.3. -You will spend half as much on health care yet get better outcomes. -Poverty in Canada is 1/3 the rate in the USA. -Although Canada has fewer millionaires, we more fairly distribute wealth (better income equality).
