Filmmakers have tried unsuccessfully for 20 years to make a great Iraq or Afghanistan war movie. Every major American conflict has them, even the 1991 Gulf War. I've only seen the trailer and read reviews for My Dead Friend Zoe, but I think director Kyle Hausmann-Stokes may have finally done it.
