Hidden Tariff Issue #4 - Trump is complaining about other countries exporting cheaper goods to the U.S. But who does he think is outsourcing the manufacturing to them in the first place? If manufacturing didn’t come back with the China 301 tariff, it won’t, they will moved it to another country.

Hidden Tariff Issue #3: The tariff on some HTS codes can vary between 7.5% to 25% based on the 7 & 8th digits. It’s a pain when the 7.5% is quoted and the broker imports the product using the 25%, vice versa, or they flipflop every time the same product is imported.

Hidden Tariff Issue #1 - Exported a MX unit in July 2024 for a customer to test. Product needs to return - $18k in tariffs if I don’t babysit someone to ensure HS Code 9801 (US Goods Returned) is used.
