First time I’ve agreed with something he’s said.

@sonofchelsea.bsky.social when does part 2 of the podcast come out! Great listen in part 1!

I cannot believe he's actually said "but we're still 4th". He truly is Clearlake's strongest soldier. I said a few weeks ago I was pretty indifferent to him but not anymore.

Thank god Chelsea spent 20m on him. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Also keep in mind when Chelsea “mutually parted ways” with Poch, think about the coaches that were available. Why would any halfway decent coach go near this dumpster fire. Turned down by McKenna, etc.

Robert Sanchez registered 53.8% pass accuracy. He lost possession 19 times, more than any player involved in Chelsea's 3-1 defeat at Man City.

All that money. All that tiki taka ideology. And the game is won by kicking the ball up to the big fucker up front. Pep Allardyce.

The more this team becomes like a Maresca team and less like a Poch team…see for yourself

Rip it all up.

Bring on Nkunku for Sancho. For the love of god. Not Jackson.

Chelsea are in their Black Mirror/Twilight Zone era Bad players get indulged and endless patience whilst good ones are banished. We spend millions but then are told expectations for success are unfair. Feels so far away from a football club. And I refuse to accept their framing

The SDs are doing my head in. Nkunku for Garnacho. One is a WC player and the other is Garnacho. Stop with this. Play Palmer on the left and Nkunku as a 10 and stop the madness.

@sebc.bsky.social if you could plug a goalkeeper into this team that’s reasonably attainable from anywhere, who would you get and how much would it cost?

This is how older millennials felt when Vine died.

Well this is good timing… #CFC

That, right there, is what makes Jackson special. Strength and brilliant skill to receive under pressure, protect the ball and then spin away and drive forward. Tops it off with a perfect pass and then Palmer does what Palmer does - clinical and effortlessly cool. Superb goal

If you don’t put teams away in the PL, this is what happens. Chelsea go on autopilot before the game is finished and it’s now cost us 4 games in a row.

Jadon Sancho has as many assists for Chelsea as he managed for Manchester United. He's played 68 matches fewer. #CFC

Let's do some Christmas comets, starting with the Prem NICE - Bournemouth > Man City THIS IS NOT A DRILL - Michael Edwards' nerds > Klopp - Todd Boehly's redemption arc NAUGHTY - Pep's thin squad and thinner hair - Arsenal forgetting open play exists - Sean Dyche's quest to end goals entirely

This will always be one of the coolest and best traditions across any sport.

Marc Cucurella's decision to play in crocs really backfiring here.

Classy as always Spurs fans…

It all feels a bit Conference League. Not at all convinced this Chelsea XI gets the job done against real Premier League opposition but Maresca calculated that it would be good enough for tonight, and it is. One/two more goals and he might be able to give Palmer an early night ahead of Spurs

Too bad Ranieri already re-returned to Roma…

@bsky.app are there plans to make articles open in reader view the default action?

It looks like a penalty sure. But the problem is the ball is gone. He’s never getting back to it. It looks worse than it is.

For what it’s worth, if we can use Felix in a game like this, then we can do the same with Nkunku. Both intelligent players that can play in the spaces. Don’t buy the narrative that you can’t get Nkunku Jackson and Palmer into the same team (not all the time).

@tylerjfisher.com Sill is awesome. Thank you ☺️

Cucurella becoming weirdly likeable was not something I had on my bingo card for 2024. Alas, here we are.

That’s the most Chelsea non goal I’ve ever seen. You couldn’t plan that better. Amazing creativity and ingenuity to not score. You can’t teach that type of panache 🤌

Jackson and Madueke have been so good today. Unfortunately, Sanchez is still a weird decision away from this game being 1-1.

Only Erling Haaland (31) and Ollie Watkins (24) have scored more non-penalty goals in the Premier League since the start of last season than Nicolas Jackson (21). Today's game is only Jackson's 82nd top-flight league appearance (he's scored 33 goals overall in those games).

In a game of such dominance, Sanchez distribution still putting his team under pressure. This is supposed to be his strongest attribute

Those jackets are brutal.

All the Bluesky advice threads are like when someone at a restaurant explains how “we do it a little differently here” and it’s just tapas
