i'll be honest, i'm glad we got the misprinted version. this version of serenade wouldn't have seen much play, aurora would've LLed fast without serenade anyway, and the deck felt notably more fun managing this deck resource with estrikes, sinks, pitching, etc. soft garnets are a cool design space

i wonder if they'll make an update to the LL system that's targeted at new heroes accruing points. e.g., maybe a point cap per season for the first year, or a 0.5x multiplier if new heroes are expected to be around longer, it'd justify more card bans to balance the format, which would help too

pq time! playing aurora! 0-1 into rhinar, i did the dumbest punt imaginable and played arc lightning, flicker wisp, then written in the stars… no go again and passed. 5 damage instead of 20+ damage >.< i’m so not used to written in the stars in the list

it’s wild to me that people even use the term “AI artist” unironically now. they literally aren’t doing art. prompting an AI is way closer to commissioning an artist than it is to being one. we don’t call people who ask someone else to do art for them an artist, we call them a customer.

ok so, collecting a list of weird/new things about high seas products no mention of cold foils in the main packs, however each box has a single treasure pack with a cold foil (or lost treasure) inside it the main packs do still have marvels though, appearing in the expansion slot.
