Maybe I don't "look" Autistic enough for the stereotype-lovers of the world to believe me. #autism

I liked it better when MLB Network has wall to wall spring training games through the night, instead of MLB Tonight reruns.

As long is there is melatonin, and the NFL Combine is on, should sleep well. And in a pinch, the combine alone will probably suffice.

Be open about being broken. Show your jagged shards sticking out of the sand, reflecting sunlight back at people. It's authentic, and if people do not respect that enough to tip toe through or around it, it's their own fault for getting cut.

I had already named a minor character in my most recent novel after #Zelenskyy. Now I wish it had been a major character. books2read.com/u/bp6EKz

I wonder lately if I should just totally nerd out on social media over one thing. A lot of people do that. They are the "science" person or the "history" person. And while those accounts seem to gain more traction, that's not why I am thinking about it. I just wonder if I would have more fun.

I am not sure what I think of "phone/screen/internet addiction." But I am sure the amount of time on same has done serious damage. Being on par with the disease of drugs or alcohol dependency? I don't know about that. We are being killed by it collectively, nonetheless.

Anybody else have #cats that seem either drawn to or bothered by the sound of typing o a keyboard? The house cats cannot come in the office, so they do not get hair of everything, but whenever I type they start scratching at the door to get in...

I cannot decide if I want to reach out to other creatives who have been where I have been, and know my struggles, or if I should be trying to market my work as thought everything is fine. Actually, I know the answer; the #Autistic burnout is quite real when it comes to trying to promote and sell.

Any little bit helps, if you are looking for a new one time charitable cause. I am grateful.

Day 32 of posting from The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows until the world makes sense: As someone that suffers a lot from Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria I don't think I've ever had good news or received a compliment that I haven't been instantly skeptical about. 💙📚

I barely slept last night, BlueSky. My bedtime was standard (for me) but I knew I had to be up earlier than normal today. I almost always sleep poorly when I know I have to be up earlier the next day. So when i need sleep most I get it least.

Dear all of humankind: I am done with registering or subscribing to see shit. Content should be content, not a procedure.

#Conclave is worth watching. First time in years I had a natural desire to see a movie that ended up nominated for an Oscar. I tend to read multiple movies set during Conclaves and featuring Popes, including the source material of this movie. It's like a niche of a niche genre. #fiction

Some things you must have in order to maintain mental health, or comfort in life. But the act of trying to obtain those things is, in and of itself, detrimental to your mental health. Catch-22 Billion.

In #Maryland, headed into a short stretch of early spring-like weather after about 10 frigid, icy, blustery days.

My stuff doesn't sell. I even wrote a book about why i have such difficulty selling me work, directed at other people in my situation who also have difficulty selling their work. And that too has not sold. I'd love to only care about process, but with so little to show for it, why not just think it?

One challenge of many in being a #writer and reaching out, is reaching out to people who do NOT write. We want to mostly reach potential readers. It is wonderful to commiserate with those who understand ,and they are easily found. But for the sake of our work, we must step out of the ivory tower.

It is not a good sign when you take an online course to learn basics on something you never really studied, and fail to understand what they mean in minute two of video one. 😆 But oh well...plenty of other things to improve myself by.

I had heard this at some point. But even so, I'd long to own a First before a Third.
