I missed having beignets, so I made my own. Cafe Du Monde brand and absolutely worth the shipping-- I got the set with the chicory coffee. Next time I'll see about making them from scratch. Also I couldn't be assed to make 4 batches of square beignets, so half were misshapen. Still tasted bomb, tho.

Thanks to generous help, I was able to bring Little Miss to the vet, and she seems ok now. They want to see her again in early December though, to be sure that she is fine, and get her up to date on her shots. The first visit put me in the negative, and I won't get more money before the second.
