I genuinely cannot see a future for Britain in which we don’t find ourselves in the grip of a fascist government. I remain optimistic but mostly for PR, nobody wants to hang out with a doomer, but I feel like I’m watching an ideological hurricane slowly but surely make its way towards us

Documentary aired tonight on BBC 2 about the British nuclear testing scandal which hits close to home, lightly touching on Operation Dominic, a secret project which my grandad was involved in as a human guinea pig among some 500 other British troops. The resulting radiation killed my aunt Dawn.
