A silly Year of the Snake inspired sketch to momentarily distract me from the world (Everyone is aware there is a literal coup happening in the US, right??). I have a lot of personal identity tied to snakes and other creatures associated with transformation and rebirth.

It’s hard to make new art atm. I wanted to share these little watercolor sketches I did a few years ago. I know it’s probably better to stick to one recognizable style as an artist but I just enjoy experimenting too much and have so many vastly different ideas. Also trans rights are human rights ❤️

"Blind Love" This was done for the cover of the October 1999 issue of Cthulhusex Magazine, and remains an distillation of everything I was into at the time. It found new life when it was featured on the Coilhouse blog in '07. It was my way of introducing Courtney as a character.

An older (2018) drawing based on model Nina Kate. A mix of graphite, charcoal and white ink. It’s more of a study really; it was very small. I’ve been revisiting older work that I was really pleased with at the time in an attempt to inspire myself out of burnout.
