I'm not saying Tom Cruise is right about psychological therapy... but I'm not sure he's right. Sitting around reflecting on your problems might not be the most productive solution. I've had my share of issues. The best curative was to get out of my head by doing something productive.

It's only been 5 days and I am already exhausted by Trump. The good (deportations of illegals immigrants with final deportation orders against them) and the bad (mass pardons of J6 rioters including violent thugs.) A lot of action. No discernment.

So far, 308 illegal immigrants with final deportation orders issued against them have been detained. Supposedly they have also all been convicted of violent crimes. So they have committed crimes and they have had the process due and won't leave. So now they will be forced to. What is the problem?

I have little doubt the H1-B program is abused to keep wages down and provide employees that are more compliant due to fear of losing their job and visa. IMO, like pretty much all immigration, it should be severely curtailed for 20 years or so. nypost.com/2024/12/28/u...

Jimmy Carter was not a good President. But by all accounts he was as decent and honorable a man as ever occupied the office. He gave his country and family everything he had. The world could do with more men like him. And in the end; that's more important than the first line of this post.

As I age, I increasingly notice people become super famous, disappear, and make a comeback without me knowing they exist. I'll see their picture on a People Magazine "Where are they Now?" issue years later while standing in line to buy eggs and wonder "... who the hell is that?"
