Very good morning! Was woken up at midnight by a crow friend cawing. It didn't sound like the Emergency or Danger Caw. But crows shouldn't be up & farting around in the middle of the night. Next I heard a cat meowing. *gasp* This morning, though, both Buddy & his partner, Sweetpea, showed up. 😊 Wew!

I looked down and I saw stars ⭐ Yes, I'm wearing knock off crocs. My left foot still doesn't fit into any of my shoes. Will it ever? Nice and invigorating walking around in the snow, too! Yes, I whispered a prayer for the mini-souls of those poor little stars. Checked, but none were savable.

Fun fact: There is a grave in Japan dedicated to all the termites killed by a pest control company. The phrase under "termites" (shiroari) reads Rest (sleep) in Peace ... ...Lil' bugs🙏😢.

My mood🆙. Got a hefty pile of work done yesterday, went to bed at 7pm, slept through the night, woke up at 4, drinking coffee I roasted myself while giddily shopping for a Kobo to store all my ebooks because &*#@ b3zos, then all day answering emails and messages from listeners and friends. ✨

So staying at a hotel in Japan and they ask for your car keys to keep behind the desk. This irks me. Room's already been paid for. I've seen Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Not today !! two young reception desk young men! I stood my ground and refused. I feel bad about saying, Um, no. But why?

What genius or mad person invented this? I was never really a fami chiki person (because, greasy). I went for 7-11's kara age bō (chicken on a stick). But Family Mart just came out with Cream Cheese Sauce in Crispy Chicken and it's time to rethink which conbini I visit 🙌😊
