This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source. Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

On another topic, drove Mattawa to Ottawa and the 308 km was the most I’ve done in one stretch since driving San Diego to Sacramento (825km) for my Grandmother’s memorial in 2017. Glad to know I can still drive over 3.5 hours and not get tired.

Being sick for the first snow day of the year is bullshit. Having to postpone my return home because of it is bittersweet. I will miss those I love in San Diego and celebrating with them but the thought of enjoying my first Yule & New Year's with my beloved partner is pretty wonderful.
