Julian Dennison should be a movie star. He was so good in Uproar that I'm still thinking about it.

Yeah, I keep thinking I have reached the most pain I'm going to feel about it and then once in a while something (in this case David's posts) presses on the bruise and I'm like oh! Fuck, that still hurts!

Yes and also: people who can't work or write poems or toilet unassisted are PEOPLE with human dignity that they don't have to earn! (Sorry for shouting in your mentions, just extremely vexed about his bigotry.)

The audiobook for Gideon is so good! Moira Quirk is a delight.

All Systems Red by Martha Wells? It's a novella, you might need the second one as well, but the narration is great and the story is both entertaining and moving.

I'm guessing this is a question of individual taste😂

That's a great win! I'm composing my "time to vote again!" email to my co-workers and bringing election information for the staff room.

Fair enough--but there is basically no chance that this seat will go conservative, so it's not a question of vote-splitting--and Bhutila has served two terms as the provincial representative in the riding. She's fantastic.

People change in all kinds of ways throughout our lives, and sometimes we want to change the way we describe ourselves! May it be only joyful for you.

I love little kids and I miss hanging out with them, but my big kid is almost 16 now and I like being with him so, so much. There are big-kid joys to look forward to!

Right now I'm using the Finch app because I find it fun and it asks my mood every time I open it, so it's helping me stay consistent.
But this is genuinely hard, it's normal to not be sure!

I have never been great at this but it is helpful to me to keep a basic mood log for a few weeks (five-point scale? Couple times a day?)

That last two percent is a killer. You can do it!

You can always change it later if you want to play with it! It is not impossible that I will have another fling with crayon colours.

I like it! You can't tell in my profile pic because my hair started graying from behind my ears, but I'm mostly gray too and I think it rocks.

Thank you! I know I need to work at vocabulary (shocker: more words in my words, important) so this will help a lot!

83% sounds amazing to me, a person just struggling through Māori Made Easy alone in my apartment. Any suggestions for a Very Beginner learner? (I listen to the Everyday Māori podcast and I have the Te Aka app on my phone.)
