@stephruhle.bsky.social Musk's money interests have become very obvious. But who's following the money relative to Trump? Everyone knows that is one of his three most important personal interests - the others being image and perceived power.

@maddow.msnbc.com How does "money" and oligarchs directly influence elections? And how can "we the people" combat that? "He who has money controls the elections," "He who has money controls the 'government'." and "The People". How, short of banning political ads, do we stop the influence of money?

@lawrenceodonnell.msnbc.com I just watched Trump publicly attack and belittle a State Govender and tell her - if you don't do what I want, you won't get any federal monies. Somebody (Congress with backbone to do their job) needs to stand up and tell this school yard bully that it's not his money?

@chrislhayes.bsky.social The last word in "MAGA" is "Again". Besides inferring that America is not now "great', it suggests that America was once "great" before now. Now, my question is - Just when is that point in time that MAGA thinks that America was great if not now? 1776? 1865? 1962? 1964?l

@chrislhayes.bsky.social Let's use Trump's own premises of "common sense": the true definition of "inflation" is that some greedy SOB wants more money. That is the ONLY reason for ANY price/cost increase. Think about it and trace it back.

@andrksdas.bsky.social This is a fatalist view, Trump is a prime target to USE to work toward that goal. Trump is "useable" due to his ego and national security risk. Russian influence can leverage his monetary/"power". China can use his ego and it's own technology capabilities to access control.

@arimelber.bsky.social Trump and Musk have differing goals, but each is using the other to get there. Musk is aimed at deregulation and gaining wealth. Trump's is more nefarious - eliminate oversight, negate "advise and consent", and acquiring a third (plus) "term of office" and "kingship".

@arimelber.bsky.social As a former Military Police Officer and Army Civil Service Security Office I very much appreciate your fact based "reporting" on "The Beat". Have seem much on the power and image grabs by Trump/Musk, but very little on the money trail that was prevalent in Trump 1.0.

@maddow.msnbc.com Many are reacting to Trumps blitzkrieg of actions and many of those are distractions from his actual aims. Trumps has only three obvious personal concerns - Image, power, and money. Image and power goals are obvious;- but nobody seems to be looking at the personal money side.
