Peaceful political discourse. Neurospicy on a few spectra, but harmless. Hoping for a better world. Therapist says currently manic. So let's use it for something productive. People need help. I have plenty. Writer. Teacher. Hopeless idealist.

I got dis. We got dis? Idfk. Gonna' need editing help.

But also...fuck.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. How am I going to finish this in a week? Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.

Biggest truths I've learned this year: 1) Once you're labeled crazy, nobody will ever believe you or trust your judgement. Labels follow you digitally across providers. 2) Don't be honest w/ them. Manage them. Say what they need, to get the meds/services *you* need. 3) Be rich. Male. Articulate.

More novel writing. So, so, so, soooo much writing. I see the whole shape of it now. Needs a lot still. If it were a boat, it'd not be seaworthy. But if it were a house, you could now duck through the frame-walls at least get under a roof to hide from the rain.

Lmao can you guess the theme: tidal.com/playlist/909...

Yo, @timcarvell.bsky.social , sorry for slightly unhinged msg on IG last wk. Meds are stabilizing me. I'm fine. Keep doing you, & godspeed. Fullspeed on novel now. Will chat if you ever invite for an interview. ;-) Good luck. Keep doing the thing(s). Tbh... @lastweektonight.com Fuck Musk. Idfc.

Hi, @nerdoftherings.bsky.social ! Msg'd you on IG, but mebbe dis is better. More ideas: a) Non-reproductive sexuality sorta' absent. How would modern Western sexual mores be perceived in, e.g. 3rd-Age Gondor? Shire? b) Would a transplanted Abrahamic monotheist be seen as 'faithful' in M.E.?

No, *you're* suddenly manic again and can't stop writing.

No. Bad. On break from that. Go back to writing your story.

Hey, @johngreensbluesky.bsky.social ! Have you ever used Dipesh Chakrabarty's "The Climate of History: Four Theses" in a class/vid? And/or what do you think of it? (Slightly dated) And/or how would you feel about ideas for a weekly discussion on odd academic papers? CrashCourse Humanities 501?

The tl;dr: should be at the top.

If you're this world's Gwaihir, please remember that Gandalf is gonna' need you a few times before we get to the Black Gate. <Also, is it morally okay for Gwaihir sit out the vast majority of the fight against Sauron? It's probably ethically the correct call, as an agent of the Author, but still.>

First time generating an image with AI. Interesting process. So very different from what a human artist would make from the same instructions, both in composition and shading. Shows me a lot about how much of human artistic analogizing is intuited, and what aspects of "similarity" we prioritize.

It seems implausible that anyone would be earnestly following tens of thousands of accounts based on actual human judgement. Do such astronomical numbers indicate a fully bot account, or do actual human accounts simply scripts mass-follows on keywords/mentions in hopes of follow-backs?

Been a rough few weeks for mental/emotional health, but I think I turned a corner tonight. Picked up last year's stalled creative writing project again. Tons of writing left to do, and I'm gonna' need editors, but I think I finally see the shape of it. Thanks for your patience and grace.

Time to write. Couldn't finish the story last year, but I think I see a path forward.

Why would you build urinals at a 90° angle to each other, less than 2.5 feet apart, in an alcove? And who plumbed that free-standing wall?

Does chewing ice made with fluoridated public water count as brushing my teeth?

@drjoehanson.bsky.social @hankgreen.bsky.social If the universe is expanding, then density of the intergalactic medium (and thus, its refractive index) is changing (unless expansion and particle-production are correlated). So light speeds up as it travels to us? How does that affect redshift, etc.?

Idea: Instead of protests, let's hold on-campus spiritual gatherings, honoring the call of the Higher Power (such as resisting authoritarianism, or helping the poor). Pilgrims mask to humble ourselves before Him/Her/Them. Perhaps sanctioned by a formal church, e.g. Our Lady of Perpetual Indulgence?

@hankgreen.bsky.social Hooray for three Reid videos in a week!

@lastweektonight.com To clarify: I understand that you (and your competitors) are producing comedy, and *not* journalism, even if you employ former journalists. Nothing I want to talk about requires the legal shield of journalism.

@devdell.bsky.social I'm trying to contact someone in the Stewartverse (as in, who works with TDS/TWS, Colbert, or LWT) for a direct message exchange (can provide personals for a BG check if needed). Is there a more appropriate venue than social media? And if so, what is it?

What does a person do if they find late-night writers/hosts more credible than journalists?

@weeklyshowpodcast.bsky.social Point of order: is there maybe a public-facing email address that viewers can hit up? I'm trying to contact y'all, and I recognize the answer to what I have to say might just be 'no,' which is fine. But I don't want to just drop everything publicly.

@mcuban.bsky.social I know I seem like a bot, but I can't immediately do anything about that. Just pinging people who have late-night-writers' ears. (Tbh you'd be a hell of a partner for my idea, but I assume you don't want to hear ideas directly. So I'm just asking about cultivating audience.)

Identical messages, btw: "Warmest greetings to you...Your life's journey has led you to this moment, and the Illuminati has taken notice...As a member of the Illuminati, you will gain access to exclusive knowledge, secret techniques, and methods to unlock your full potential." Fuck me I guess.
