Yes, I used Hypercard personally and at work, Boeing Computer Services, in the day when there was a BCS and they had an AI lab. (GOFAI, symbolic expert systems). I developed on Symbolics Lisp Machines and Tek Smalltalk workstations. File xfer w/databases on Macs with a Hypercard front end for users.
