Under the auspices of the ACRiSL project, led by the HRLC, the Centre for Child Law submitted an excellent amicus curiae brief in support of the recent landmark ruling of the High Court of South Africa to overturn plans to introduce new coal-fired power stations. Agnes joined the HRLC as a student intern before serving as our coordinator for a decade. Her outstanding contribution to the HRLC cannot be overstated: she has left an indelible mark on the Centre and its members. She was an exceptional friend & colleague. We miss her greatly.

The HRLC celebrates #WorldChildrensDay, marking the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. Our research with children focuses on solving real-world problems & generating compelling evidence for law & policymakers to change things for the better for children.
