they said it couldn't be done (how dare they), but after a 6 year long break I'm back to making daily comics exclusively on patreon www.patreon.com/juliakaye

streetlight manifesto skipping LA for their tours and playing Anaheim instead is a time honored tradition/hate crime to me specifically

I for one am excited to find out which new industries millennials (and millennials alone) are responsible for killing when the cost of living shoots through the roof in the coming months

Stopped by a farmer's market for the first time in like, 8-10 months—a guy working a fruit stand remembered me That kinda thing always mystifies me, like how are you performing this magic? I've had maybe 2-3 incredibly brief interactions with him over the span of years

juice n goo day 😌

If someone offered me a decently paying job with solid benefits and the downside was that I'd have to get Severed™️, I'm not totally certain I'd turn it down at this point

Looking at a job application where a requirement is being bilingual How do I convey to them I am both bi and lingual

Also, I'm gonna be at Q Con, a ✨free✨ queer indie comic convention in West Hollywood in a couple weeks 💜

*I* don't even think about trans people as much as conservatives do It's crazy

I keep seeing folks on the left frustratingly trying to reason with or play games of "gotcha" with conservatives who believe in bioessentialism, that gender is immutable Their minds aren't going to be changed—the existence of trans people threatens their fascist ideology

been thinking about this the past couple days for no particular reason

saving a lot of money on seltzer by sticking a straw into a glass of tap water and blowing bubbles

a nice thing i noticed at the convention was how many of my readers wore masks, it was awesome solidarity babyyy

oh it's fig season!!! i love to be alive

anyway time to crash out for a week after doing a con all weekend thanks to everyone who stopped by~ i do cons so rarely it's a special treat to get to meet y'all in person 💜

day 2 of staple, down to a small handful of books n prints i'm the lord's eepiest soldier
