Coming around to the view that a certain kind of narcissist simply needs Musk to be a genius rather than a fraud, because they want to believe there’s a hereditary Brahmin class of accomplished, beautiful minds—and that they’re a part of that class.

I legit, from context, thought Elon Musk was the name of a company until 2018 when he libelled that cave diver. Basically everything he's done since then has been dreadful (and all the things before that he takes credit for he didn't do) so I've had the good fortune to hate him from the get-go.

At the end of the 90s I was depressed AF for a couple of years. During that time I watched untold amounts of sitcom, stand-up and any other form of comedy I could clap my eyes on. I've always loved and watched comedy; it's not in any way an effective treatment against feeling hopeless and lifeless.

On this side of the Atlantic, Corbyn picked a Shadow Cabinet with people from all parts of the party. They stabbed him in the back first chance they got. In the US, far more Sanders '16 primary voters swallowed it and voted for Clinton in the general than Clinton '08 voters for Obama.
