Last night I attended a meeting for worship at Westminster Quaker Meeting House, where last week a police raid arrested six women for planning a peaceful protest. In Parliament today, I called for a debate on the repressive laws which inhibit right to peaceful protest, a cornerstone of democracy.

my dad was a lifelong labour and union man. he was also disabled and in receipt of disability benefits. he had only just begun to accept that the labour he had supported all his life didn't exist anymore when be passed in 2023. in a sad way i'm glad he's not around to see what labour have become now
